Salary package of BSc/BCA Graduate after completing 3 years in TCS?

If you're a new joiner as a BSc/BCA Graduate in TCS and want to get an estimated salary package after 1, 2, or 3 Years? I've shared my experience with salary estimates.

I've served in TCS for 3.3 years in a Software Tester role. At the time of leaving TCS, I was getting 4.32 LPA.

As a BSc/BCA Graduate, you'll be getting different appraisals and increments as compared to the BE, B-Tech & MCA graduates.

Appraisals & Increments(BSc/BCA Graduate only)

You'll be receiving 2 Increments every financial year - Anniversary and Year-end.

A year-end appraisal is what you get when the financial year ends after March. Anniversary appraisal we receive after completion of 1 or 2 years.

• After 1st Anniversary appraisal - 6 to 10%
• Year-end appraisal(after completing 1st Anniversary appraisal) - 4 to 8%
• After the 2nd Anniversary appraisal - Roughly around ₹1 Lacs
• Year-end appraisal(after 2nd Anniversary) - 4 to 8%
• After the 3rd Anniversary appraisal - 4 to 8%

I. Salary after 1 Year

After first-year completion, you'll get a rating of 5 according to your performance in that financial year.

• 2.6 LPA For 5 Ratings
• 2.45 LPA For 4 Ratings
• 2.3 LPA For 3 Ratings

No one actually gets 2 or 1 Ratings. So, we're not considering that.

I received 3.7, but they gave me 3 as a round figure. So, my salary was 2.32 LPA after 1 year of completion.

So, the salary after completion of 1 year will be ₹15,600 to ₹17,800 in Hand.

II. Salary after 2 Years

After first-year increments, ratings will be replaced by Grades. Instead of 1 to 5 Ratings, you'll receive A to E Grades from your manager.

This time you'll receive a huge salary increment. It's because of the 2nd anniversary.

2nd Year-end appraisal increament will as usual(4-8%), plus you'll get 2nd anniversary Increment which will be around 1 lacs.

So, you can expect a salary range between 3.4 LPA to 3.8 LPA. In hand salary will ve ₹22,800 to ₹25,600.

III. Salary after 3 Years

After the completion of 3 years, you'll receive 2 Appraisals with a 4 to 8% increment to your current salary.

For the 3rd Anniversary appraisal, you'll not get the same increment(like the previous - 2nd Anniversary).

Estimated Salary after 3 years, will be between 3.6 LPA & 4.5 LPA. In hand salary will ve ₹24,000 to ₹30,500.

After 3 years, you'll only get a year-end appraisal. Anniversary appraisal will be discontinued.

What is the average salary of a BCA fresher in TCS?

It will be some amount between ₹12,800 - ₹13,400 Depending on the month. After every 3 months, you'll be receiving some amount as Bouns.

What will be the salary for a BSc/BCA Graduate after getting 5 & A ratings for 3 years?

After 1 year - 2.6 LPA, after 2 years - 3.8 LPA & after completion of 3 years, your salary will be 4.5 LPA, if you manage to get the Highest ratings or grade for consecutive 3 years.

So, In hand salary will be around ₹30-30.5K after completion of 3 years of service in TCS.

What will be the salary for a BSc/BCA Graduate after getting 4 & B ratings for 3 years?

If you're not doing anything extraordinary & just delivering average performance for consecutive 3 years, your Salary slavs will look like this:

• After 1 year - 2.45 LPA
• After 2 years - 3.6 LPA
• After 3 years - 4.1 LPA

And the In-hand salary for 4.1 LPA is roughly around ₹26,000.
